Are Buffy comics canon?

Are Buffy comics canon? To some fans, the answer is a clear and resounding “no.” They argue that since the comics were not created by Joss Whedon, they cannot be considered part of the Buffyverse. To others, the comics are a cherished part of the Buffy canon, filling in gaps and expanding on the characters and storylines.

The Buffy comics were first published in 1998, a year after the TV series ended. They were written by Whedon and other writers from the TV show, and were published by Dark Horse Comics. The comics were extremely popular, and eventually led to a spin-off series, Angel comics.

In 2001, Whedon decided to end the comics. He said, “I didn’t want the comics to be the B show. I wanted them to be the A show. I wanted the comics to be the funniest, cleverest, most exciting, most dangerous show on the stands.”

However, in 2007, Dark Horse Comics began publishing new Buffy comics, written by Jane Espenson and other writers from the TV show. These comics are considered canonical by most fans.

So, are Buffy comics canon? The answer is a little complicated. The original comics were written by Whedon and other writers from the TV show, and are considered canonical by most fans. However, the new comics are written by different writers, and are not considered canonical by all fans.

Does Buffy ever see Spike again?

The question of whether or not Buffy ever sees Spike again is a complicated one. On the one hand, it would appear that the two have parted ways for good. On the other hand, there are some indications that they may eventually reunite.

Buffy and Spike’s relationship was a complicated one. They were often on opposite sides, but they also had a strong connection. Eventually, they ended up together, and it appeared that they were truly in love. However, their relationship was not meant to be. Buffy ended up breaking up with Spike, and it seemed as though they would never see each other again.

However, there are some indications that they may eventually reunite. In the season 8 comic book, Buffy and Spike are shown to be in contact with each other. They are not back together, but it seems that they are still friends. Additionally, in the season 10 comic book, Spike shows up at Buffy’s house and tells her that he needs her help. It’s not clear what this means, but it seems that Spike still has feelings for Buffy.

So, does Buffy ever see Spike again? The answer is complicated. It’s possible that they will reunite in the future, but it’s also possible that they have permanently parted ways. Only time will tell.
