In 2003, Dark Horse moved from Oregon to California. In 2004, Dark Horse began to publish titles based on video games, such as Halo and Mass Effect. From 2005 to 2008, Dark Horse published a number of titles based on the Star Wars franchise, including the popular series Knights of the Old Republic.
In 2011, Dark Horse was acquired by Disney. In 2012, Dark Horse began to publish titles based on the Disney franchise, including the popular series Frozen.
Aliens is a comic book series published by Dark Horse Comics. The series is based on the Alien films, and features the characters of Ellen Ripley and Newt. The series began publication in 1988, and is currently ongoing.
